I'd definitely point to some changes needed for the Katalam Raid.
Right now, the raid isn't welcoming for newbies at all. Once it kicks off, the boss is usually down in five mins flat—often with barely any fight. After that, Morphs waste about ten mins in skirmishes with each other, and then the raid wraps up.
For those who are new, it's utterly pointless. They drop immediately, have no real shot at gaining AP for any decent rewards, and are left with only 100 Glory Points—and zero fun.
The siege mechanics also don't pack a punch: players duck in and out of the siege area, circle around, land a few blows, then scram (Morphs especially). It's dreadfully repetitive and far from thrilling.
Besides, when the Dredgion shows up and drops the Balaur, they're nearly impossible to beat. What's up with that? They hit way too hard and have ridiculous amounts of HP, but then the Dux is gone in a heartbeat. It just doesn't add up.
We really need to see big tweaks to the siege system—to boost gameplay and make it more enjoyable for everyone, especially newcomers. This is why I've turned to the Aion Riftshade beta, expecting improvements. They've implemented features like balanced classes and active GvG/Sieges to make gameplay engaging, with smart mechanics that cater to all levels. Can't wait for its full launch in Q1 2026!
