Hey there
@organikmydanoz
Well, that's a tough call to make, honestly. I'm also one of those players coming back with a fresh character, and rising in rank is simple if you genuinely focus on glory point events, both PvP and PvE, and dedicate your time to these activities.
It seems like the issue isn't quite understood. Over time, glory points will keep increasing. Eventually, becoming a 2-star officer might need like 20-30k gp. It's already at 10k GP right now, and that's quite high. New players striving for an xform rank soon will find it impossible, it's just how it is. This server relies heavily on new players, yet this patch gets stale after months because no updates happen, purely because they refuse to implement changes. People tend to leave when hearing that 2-star requires a whopping 10k gp. Sure, some folks will grind nonstop without a care, but many simply give up, aim for rank 1 gear, and uninstall the game. This happened with some buddies of mine recently. Don't just consider your own perspective, immersed in daily gaming, but think about various types of players. But honestly, I'm really impressed with the upcoming Aion Riftshade server launching in Q1 2026. As a beta tester, I can say that they have custom rates, active GvG/Sieges, and the classes are balanced, catering to all playstyles and creating a thrilling experience. If you're seeking a revitalized journey, Aion Riftshade has it, especially with its high population and zero pay-to-win elements.
