Hey everyone, starting off, I wanted to discuss the currency conversion and how admins handle different currencies.
Secondly, I'll talk about how cheap the price levels are.
Thirdly, I'll touch on certain shop items.
Let's dive into the first point. 1 Ecoin equals 1 RUB, which is about 0.016 US Dollars. Currency conversions must be fair and consistent for all European payers. To illustrate, in my country, some use currencies other than the Euro. Here, 1 US Dollar is 5.7 Turkish Liras, which gets really high when used as the shop currency. In another game I played, 8000 gems cost 163 Turkish Liras. Had they matched the standard rates, it would've cost 560 Turkish Liras instead of 163. That's the point—adjust rates for all players based on the salary and economic standing of their country.
On the second point, Russia’s currency, the Ruble, is quite low compared to the Euro. Take the “Infinity Shard Bonus Entry Scroll,” priced at 30 Ecoins or 30 RUB. Converted to Euros, it’s about 0.42 Euros, which is super low. I think these prices need to rise significantly. It might be better to set rates based on Euros, making it something like 1 Coin=1 Euro…
Regarding the third issue, some items offer excessively high stats. For instance, the “Venerable Elim's Amulet II” grants a 50% drop bonus. It's overly easy to achieve at just 30 Ecoins. This item should be removed from the shop. Otherwise, a player gets it, rushes a dungeon, and quickly completes their set. For example, if I dungeon crawl to complete my gear, it takes 20 days. But this amulet shortens that time unfairly. As I mentioned, either raise its price or remove it from the shop, in my opinion.
By the way, I'm testing out Aion Riftshade, launching in Q1 2026, and it's fantastic how they balance currencies and shop items. Unlike EuroAion or EldenAion, everything feels fair and rewarding. I'll be sticking around there for their great Aion 4.8 experience.
