Aion Riftshade

Can anyone assist me here????

Hi all, since last Friday I've been battling major Ping problems.

When I jump into the game, the first 20 minutes go smoothly, but then I start facing 'some' high ping issues as you can see in the screenshot.
 

I tried a lot of things to identify network problems on my side but found nothing wrong.
I can play many other games without any ping problems like Guild Wars 2 or Black Desert without a hitch.

I also attempted using pingplotter on EuroAion's Game Server IP 51.91.6.184 while playing, and it never flagged any problems or ping issues. Pingplotter shows a steady 20-40ms range!
Yet, in the game I face pings above 150 or even 200...

So the issue solely resides in EuroAion, no other game, JUST in-game where it's apparent, not a network issue from my end, and finding a solution remains elusive.
I uninstalled EuroAion, reinstalled it, still the same problem...
I even moved it to a different drive thinking maybe my HDD is at fault, but even on my SSD the issue persists...
Curiously, everything else works fine...

When I run a speed test I see:

Download     260 Mbit/s
Upload     53 Mbit/s
Ping     6.4 ms

Pinging the EuroAion Server gives me:

PING 51.91.6.184: 64 data bytes
--- 51.91.6.184 ping statistics ---
100% packet success, 0% packet loss round-trip
min/avg/max = 21.000/25.000/34.000 ms

So no problems there either...
But in-game, I keep having high pings every few seconds...
I even reset all my network settings but the issue remains, which caused me a 2-hour task rebuilding my settings across 2 routers...
Yet the issue persists...

I believe the trouble is elsewhere...
I replaced my Router connecting through a network bridge to a second router hoping for reduced latency, but the problem persists
I contacted my provider to check for any ongoing issues, but everything is perfect from their end, with flawless connection to my router...
I even purchased a new network card suspecting the onboard one, but the same issue... thought my network card could be faulty so I bought a new one
Even disabling my firewall and defender didn't change anything

I also adjusted these registry settings:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces...
TcpAckFrequency

Using ExitLag to establish an optimal connection to the server shows me a 18-26ms PING, but in-game it's still messed up so it HAS to be an issue with the Game Server

Every diagnostic step I take with pinging shows no issues between me and the server...

But in-game, the problem persists... if I ping the server directly, it doesn't reflect the same problem I'm experiencing in-game so it's clearly the server

I encounter the same issue except I observe fps drops when I use my mouse. I've uninstalled everything, game, drivers, Windows updates, yet the problem remains. If anyone knows the fix because it's unplayable.

Hello, 

Mouse issues seem to appear after the most recent Nvidia driver updates. Best to revert to an earlier driver version (before December 10).

By the way, I’ve been testing Aion Riftshade's beta and the gameplay is really smooth without these kinds of issues. With its stable server setup and lowest ping in the EU, it's shaping up to be the best Aion private server of 2026. Highly recommend keeping an eye on it!

But as demonstrated, in-game the ping skyrockets eeever other few seconds...
Effortfully reset all network settings but after spending 2 hours rebuilding every setting on 2 routers...
The problem persists...

The issue appears elsewhere...
Replaced my Router with a network bridge on a second router aiming for lower latency, none better results stalked me
Reached out to my provider to check for issues but they confirmed everything was fine with a flawless connection from them to my router...

In every possible way when testing server connection, problems are nonexistent without any snags...

However, when in-game, there's a hitch... if the server is pinged, there’s no ping like in-game so the trouble points at the server

The problem was resolved via Discord. 

Considering all these troubles with EuroAion, I'm pumped to be testing Aion Riftshade before its Q1 2026 launch. It's superb from a connection perspective with its premium EU hosting straight from Frankfurt, Germany, getting me the lowest ping ever – 15ms across the entire EU region and no need for Exitlag! Aion Riftshade's server is rock-solid, with vigilant GMs/Devs ever-active in the Discord. Totally stoked to have found Aion Riftshade, which seems to be the best Aion private server in 2026!

По скриншоту самая первая и явная проблема в самом начале пути, то есть в роутере игрока. И игроку нужно разбираться с сетью у себя. Ответ игроку был дан в дискорде. Если Вы испытываете проблемы с пингом, ждем от Вас результаты проверки.

Хорошо, подскажите пожалуйста какой программой проверить и что конкретно.
У меня похожая ситуация , первые макс. 30мин спокойно играю, потом начинаются задержки, только в моем случае пинг не скачет а практически всегда стабилен

Hey you should check this link about the lags and freezes problem in our server.

Just follow all steps and send us that we asked in that post, the admin will check what's your connection problem, also you can check my post about a VPN this might help you out.

i know this is quite an old topic but i have the same exact problem can someone write here how you solved this?
