Aion Riftshade

Hello Aion Riftshade testing team, just a heads-up that the agro doesn't seem to match the retail experience. Since 2.7, I've rocked a templar on NA servers, and it's shocking how with identical starter gear on both my Templar and Gladiator, my Templar can't even keep the agro despite using 3 diffusion skills (Taunt+Cry of Ridicule+Provoking Severe Blow). Could you check this out as I'm leveling? I've chatted with other templars in my legion who also find it challenging to maintain agro in places like the Eye of Tiamaranta, despite using a full tank stigma setup. Hopefully, this feedback will be beneficial for others on the server too.

Not sure what your friend is using if he's losing agro in Sauro where most folks are under-geared. As a DPS Templar myself since February, I've never faced such issues here. I've been a Templar since the 2.7 days on EU Nexus.

When I reached 65, I sported the Kahrun's set with an ancient coin greatsword, all out DPS stigmas and manastones. Had no problem tanking Kata with well-geared players in my alliance. In Sauro holding agro, whether it's 1k or 2k, is no sweat. Same goes for any other instance.

The issue lies with your initial gear. It lacks the "Enmity +" which is crucial for holding agro. Switch to some solid PvE gear and you will manage just fine.

Aggro is mainly dependent on DPS, the aggro skills and enmity + just supports it. The enmity - on the other classes is another factor that will help a bit (except when they do PvE in PvP gear...).

So you don't have to worry about it at that level, get to 65, start gearing up and go DPS gear and stigma build (also work on your rotations and weaving). The only instance (PvE) you need to be in a defensive set and stigma build is DLR.

just need to press the buttons normally, and not stand afk on a macro with three buttons on agro skills
