Aion Riftshade

Hello,

I've been battling to get the game operational for a couple of days now. When I launch it, the anti-cheat pops up, then the intro art shows up, but a few seconds later it shuts down without any error message or anything. It's as if it never tries to fully start.

What actions I've taken:

1) Reinstalled the game client (used the launcher, the torrent, and even the archives but the issue remains persistent)

2) Excluded the game client in Windows Defender

3) Altered the install path

4) Executed the client in 32-bit setting

 

I have DirectX, C++, and .Net Framework ready. Running the game with admin privileges as well.

I'm out of ideas. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

PS: Not certain if it's pertinent, but here's my setup:

Processor: AMD Threadripper 1950x

Graphics: RTX 3080

64 gigs of RAM

Tried running on an SSD, but as assumed, no enhancement.

Hello,

The problem is caused due to your processor and the combination with windows 11. In order to start the game in 64 bit again, you have to deactive core isolation. If this does not help, repeat the steps from this topic

Many thanks! I followed @LainX84's advice and capped my cores at 8 just as he suggested!
