As you are aware, we are facing since Friday evening some strong DDoS attacks affecting not only our AION servers, but also other games and services across the board. Due to those attacks, you might encounter heavy ingame lags, disconnections and even trouble connecting to our servers.
We would like to assure you that our technical team, with the help of our service provider partners, are actively working to mitigate the impact since it started on Friday as mentioned on Discord.
We are employing various measures and strategies to counter the DDoS attacks, enhance our network security, and safeguard our systems against such malicious activities. Sadly, the people behind those attacks are exploring all possible options to make this harder and thus, to ruin the experience of all users.
We are continuously fighting back and doing our best to restore normal operations as soon as possible.
We understand the frustration and inconvenience this may have caused you and in recognition of the disruption you are facing, our team will be working on a compensation plan next week. But for now, we are putting the priority on the stability of the servers.

wie ihr wisst, sind wir seit Freitagabend mit starken DDoS-Angriffen konfrontiert, die nicht nur unsere AION-Server, sondern auch andere Spiele und Dienste betreffen. Aufgrund dieser Angriffe kann es zu starken Verzögerungen im Spiel, Verbindungsabbrüchen und sogar zu Verbindungsproblemen mit unseren Servern kommen.
Wir möchten euch versichern, dass unser Technikteam mit Hilfe unserer Serviceprovider aktiv daran arbeiten, die seit Freitag anhaltenden Probleme zu bekämpfen.
Wir setzen verschiedene Maßnahmen und Strategien ein, um die DDoS-Attacken abzuwehren, unsere Netzwerksicherheit zu verbessern und unsere Systeme gegen solche bösartigen Aktivitäten zu schützen. Leider schöpfen die Personen hinter diesen Angriffen alle Möglichkeiten aus, was die Sache nur noch schwieriger macht und so die Erfahrung aller Nutzer beeinträchtigt.
Wir geben unser Bestes und arbeiten konstant daran, den normalen Betrieb so schnell wie möglich wiederherzustellen.
Wir verstehen die Frustration und die Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen, und werden im Team im Laufe der nächste Woche an einem Entschädigungsplan arbeiten. Aktuell liegt unsere Priorität jedoch auf der Stabilität der Server.
