Aion Riftshade

In Update 3.7, we've upgraded a lot in the ranking and enchantment systems. Keep reading to see what's new and exciting.

Ranking Modifications

• Rank Reset: All Abyss ranks will be reset, putting all Elyos and Asmodians at the Rank 9 Soldier starting point.
• Alterations to PvP AP(PvP AP is earned from defeating foes on specific maps for the set ranking season):
  • If your opponent holds less PvP AP than required, you receive whatever they have left.
  • If the opponent has zero AP, the minimum AP for their rank will be awarded.
• No More AP Limits: The restriction on earning AP from repeated targets in a short timeframe is gone.
• Ranking Corrections:
  • Rankings refresh immediately once points are gained.
  • Abyss skills are handed out based on ranking positions.
• Idle Characters: Characters inactive for a month will be excluded from the rankings.
• Erased Characters: Characters that are deleted will be removed from the rankings in the next update.
• Switching Classes: Characters' PvP AP ranks remain the same after class changes but update next cycle.
• Zero PvP AP in Lawless Zones: You can't earn PvP AP in lawless locations anymore.
• PvP Seasons:
  • Each PvP season lasts several weeks, duration may change with updates.
  • Ranks update as soon as points are gained.
  • Upon season end, PvP AP is automatically turned into Total AP.

Enchantment System Updates

An innovative system now ensures +10 enchanting as long as requirements are met. This guarantees equipment reaches +10 efficiently.

• Applies to equipment between +0 and +5.
• Enchantment stones are needed, and quantity and level rely on equipment rank/level. Min. Enchantment Stone Level:
  • Normal: +0
  • Rare: +5
  • Heroic: +15
  • Fabled: +35
  • Eternal: +50

Stones Required for Levels:

• +0 → 10
• +1 → 9
• +2 → 8
• +3 → 7
• +4 → 6
• +5 → 5

Extra stones will be in the item cube, but only necessities are utilized. This guarantees gear enchanting to +10's success if all criteria are satisfied.
