The new update introduces two powerful books waiting to reveal their secrets! Learn what to expect between the covers of the Book of Legends and Moreth, Chronicle of Time in the following guide.
Book of Legends
The pages of the Book of Legends record special moments in the fate of the world. It is available from level 50 and contains three chapters which all work in a similar manner. On your adventures and during certain events you can find special items that can be combined to complete a picture in your book. Once you manage, the Book of Legends will give you permanent passive bonuses!
Ancient Artwork
The first chapter of the book is all about ancient artwork, specifically three paintings: the painting of the Dragon Lord Tiamat, the Brohum Painting and the Dramata Painting. On your adventures you can get painting fragments from certain monsters which are initially unidentified. You can take these unidentified fragments to an art expert in the capitals, who will carefully examine your finding and be able to tell you exactly which fragment you have on your hands and which painting it belongs to. Now open your Book of Legends and you’ll see a red dot where you can further complete one of the paintings. If you manage to find a piece you’ve already collected, you can simple double-click or right-click it to turn it into Painting Dust. Once you’ve collected enough dust, you can combine it to make a new piece. Daevas who manage to complete paintings from this category can enjoy permanent character stat bonuses!
Elemental Essences
The second chapter of the Book of Legends is dedicated to Elemental Essences. There are two works to find here: Essence of Fire and Essence of Earth. The fragments you require to make the Elemental Essences are called Weak Essence of Earth and Fire Elixir. These can be combined with 5 lots of Breath of the Land andBreath of Fire. You have a chance of getting these when gathering crafting materials in Balaurea or the Abyss. Additionally there are certain items which you can get essences from: Terradew Nennane, Terradew Prolix, Terradew Korie Log, Terradew Ralloc and Terradew Drenite Ore in Balaurea, and Firedew Topaz, Firedew Aquamarine, Firedew Garnet, Firedew Lazuli and Firedew Moonstone in the Abyss. Anyone who completes the Essence of Earth can make the most of a permanent gathering speed bonus. Meanwhile, Daevas completing the Essence of Fire benefit from a permanently increased chance to receive more items when gathering.
Book of Adventure
The third and final chapter is the Book of Adventure. Here you’ll find the Memoir of the Sunken Legion which you can complete by fulfilling certain quests and receiving the necessary pages. Start with the [Book of Adventure] The Ominous Emblem Fragment quest from the trade brokers Hodirunerk in Inggison (Elyos) or Scullinerk in Gelkmaros (Asmodians). There are over twenty quests per faction to collect all the pages and complete the Memoir of the Sunken Legion. Once you have them all, you can enjoy a massive Kinah windfall, rare manastones and a special title with bonuses. Have fun collecting and reading!
Moreth, Chronicle of Time
In this ancient tome, the forces of Siel and Tiamat herself swirl in unruly chaos. The chronicle allows you to extract the energy from certain items and attempt to bring some semblance of balance to the powers within. Whoever manages this will wield a terrifying weapon against the Balaur with Tiamat’s power... The Chronicle of Time is similarly available from level 50, but otherwise works differently to the Book of Legends. The chronicle can absorb certain items (thereby destroying them) and assimilate their power. With each new chronicle level, you deal more additional damage to Balaur! Moreth can be upgraded to level 50 when the chronicle will give you the maximum effect. The number of points you receive per item absorbed depends on the particular item. You can use a maximum of twenty items at once. After absorbing an item, the book must regather its strength and recovers one charge for absorbing an item every thirty minutes.
