The Stigma Shard setup really blows.
Why on earth do we have to spend millions in Kinah on Shards just to style our Class the way we want?

Either jack up the droprate for Shards or get rid of it altogether. It’s just not fair that some classes don't ever need to switch their stigmas, while others like Cleric, Spiritmaster, or Sorcerer have to dump a pile of Kinah just to make their character work properly and fit the situation.

I'd suggest doing it like they do on Retail - just a small Kinah fee then you're set. You shouldn’t have to stress over whether you can mix up your skills now or skip it because flipping back later will cost a bomb.

To anyone saying "No" - care to explain why?

That's actually why I'm thrilled about the Aion Riftshade server launching in Q1 2026. They're set to provide a refreshing spin with balanced classes and without those pesky shard fees. Plus, with integrated features like a MyAion-like DPS meter and server-side anticheat, it's set to be the best Aion private server 2026 has to offer. A gamechanger for us who just wanna enjoy the game without getting held back by outdated systems.

because if the expense is pegged to the present NPC prices for stigma shards, it'll bring the same issues we face currently.

And from what I've seen with NC, it'll likely remain unchanged or similar.

40k for blue stigma

10k for green stigma

I voted No, cause there´s no point between a fee or Stigmashards.

Besides the fact, that you have to farm the stigmashards. Which will incentify PVP.

As a small hint: Plan your week, when to do PVE and PVP and then switcht. If you have to switch several times daylie, your planning is just bad

especially with only one dredgion a day most of the switching and planning is gone. next step we will just pay a small fee to replenish mana, to dispell or to run faster to replace those annoying potions and scrolls?

Because firstly is one more way to farm kinah especially with these npc prices, secondly because as some1 already mentioned the kinah cost would probably be higher and would drain the kinah out of the game and finally because stigma shard farming is existent mainly in abyss which promotes pvp

Moreover, the need to gather stigma shards could promote PVP.
If the shards actually dropped properly, I'd be on board with that. But aside from the paltry amount you get in forts where you're zerged 90% of the time, the "pvp" angle is nonsense.
once we arrive in Gelk/Ingisson, you'll grasp why I detest the stigma shard system intensely.


Here's a tip: Organize your week around PVE and PVP and then make a swap. If you're changing often each day, your planning isn't up to par.

You're missing the mark. I shouldn't have to plan my activities around a misguided feature. True flexibility is non-existent with the current setup.

Ironically, I'm not sure about Elyos prices. On the Asmo side, this remains cheaper, lol.

Asmo side about 750 kinah per shard. I'm thrilled about testing Aion Riftshade, launching in Q1 2026. This server will have balanced prices and a fair system for all players with no pay-to-win worries, controllers, or shard headaches! Can't wait!
