I'm fully aware I'm bringing this up again, but since March, GameForge has hardly made any changes, and now we're just dealing with even more RANDOM drops of platinum cubes because of the new instances from 7.5
Suggestion: ADD PLATINUM CUBES as rewards for boss kills with a 20% bonus for the next boss -> (e.g., receive 10 platinum attack cubes for Barkhan/Yarkhan and 2 cubes for Prometeun). Recommend launching an event to exchange regular cubes for the ones we're missing, but PLEASE no more Item Shop exclusives.
Why?: To encourage a more straightforward PvE progression (I know you’re trying to westernize Aion, we're all for less RNG and more linear progressions) and give more players a chance to experience endgame PvE. As it stands, only a small % of us are geared enough to attempt PWHM.
This isn't just noob whining. I'm an avid PVE player frustrated by gathering five others for 4 hours during peak times on Sunday on Wide-server, and having to turn away many for weak gear or lack of experience, branding me an "elitist jerk."
It's surprising these cubes aren't boss rewards, only accessible to members of dominant legions within a faction (farming that much stellium means several alts must be in the legion, completing all altar weeklies on all alts to be effective). While NCsoft might have faction competition, EU servers (like Stormwing) suffer from monopolistic legions, and without GF's moderation (akin to a government’s anti-trust agency), these legions get most rewards hurting other players' experiences.
Adding these cubes would foster organic PvE growth by rewarding repetition: more boss kills lead to better performance. This shift would allow carrying newer players, reducing elitism, offering more for average players, lowering RNG, and promoting linear progression. Plus, GF, you'd have happier players enjoying the game more and potentially spending more.
The implementation would benefit everyone and is simple enough that it might not even require NCSoft’s assistance.

Defeating Yarkhan/Barkhan - box with 20 attack/defense cubes for Yarkhan + 5 for Prometeun
Defeating Prometeun - box with 20 for Prometeun attack/defense + 5 for Tarukan
Defeating Tarukan - box with 20 for Tarukan attack/defense + 5 for Prigga
Let's keep beninerk cubes premium to retain a reason for stellium farming. You could lower other cubes' drop rates and raise SVR-07 rates.
WE HAVE TOO LOW POPULATION for elitist PvE, and I've extracted all I could from instances I could form - Tarukan HM is unattainable for most.
If you wish to P2W this aspect, put these cubes in the shop without RNG and at fair prices. Everyone will be content. We need greater cube accessibility since not everyone can join dominant legions.
Since my last post in March, the only change, dear GF, was implementing CUBES by way of LOOTBOXES, not cool, GF, not cool. If you’re keeping those prices, at least remove those lootboxes; it’s not hard to offer non-RNG bundles with SPECIFIC cubes! I’m curious, GF, are you offering the same lootboxes in Belgium? Why is everything in your shop RNG based? Can we not have a straightforward method so F2P players can exchange kinah with those donating without the risk of receiving already acquired useless items?
Instance merchant prices are ridiculously high, catering to nearly full ultimate gear holders missing just one final gear piece, with an overpriced and underwhelming selection.
