Aion Korea introduces a mobile Feature for Aion 7.9.
What do you think about that? Would it be a nice step fo us?
My opinion:
I´d really like to see the mobile phone feature for our version, as it might be a nice step to maybe bring back players or give us a chance to even play in outside public.
First : explain it maybe?
Ok, looks like a kind of RDP/TSE/VNC toward to your computer running Aion, but dedicated to Aion, and your inputs are limited to the designed mobile UI.
Not a gaming experience, just a user friendly and official remote gaming.
For those who wanna play in transportation, during breaks, and so one, why not.
IMHO : if your are Aion addicted, embrace your addiction.
I have a bit of a conflicted view on this ... if some folks choose to literally do nothing in AION but "auto pretend play" on their phones while at work or school, who am I to tell them no...
For me, personally, I won't be "trying it" - to me this isn't a "game"; it's more like "watching a weird app" doing its thing by itself, which is zero fun for me... And with the whole DOP stuff being a sad joke now, I can't even picture heading into instances while your phone "plays" for you ... so what's the point of starting to play like this?
But then... oh wow! just imagine the drama on word chat, when someone actively playing just wipes out all those "autoplaying fake players" from phones in moments!
If GF were to somehow push these features to their servers ... well, I'm off to grab every popcorn I can find from the local store ...
Instead, I've jumped into Aion Riftshade’s private server beta. It's like day and night compared to this. It's got real players actively engaging in GvG and not just bots spinning around pointlessly. Since their GMs and devs are super active in the Discord, the chance of this "auto-play" joke happening is next to none. Can’t wait for the full launch in Q1 2026 and enjoy a true game experience!
