Hello everyone

First of all, i understand that this topic, perhaps, was made before me, but i didin't find it. don't be angry

I do love aion, honestly. And as every who play this game i want to feel i play not alone.

People still playing, but there are a plenty of capabilities where to play (i mean servers) and that's why we have low online on each (i know this isn't only one reason).

At least, if we combine servers in one, perhaps, it would be give aion the second chance to become popular again within it's community.

Because i think it's not a problem what version's run on the server.

Far more important a count of people who play.

At rush hours my game is lagging like hell when loogin in to inggi-home-base. And that's only on Odin …

Considering that, the game would be probably unplayable for many ppl if we get even more players on one server.

btw: Lakrum, Dumaha, kata are already inter-server so where is the need for a merge? We already play 70% of the time on the same server.

We talked about it on the French forum, because Ragnarock Asmo is pretty empty and it's complicated for them.

But what we need the most it not necesseraly a merge, but a server-wide broker and a server-wide recruit for dd (ashu/rt/etc...).

As said by TheLink, people are already on Lakrum/Dumaha/Katalam and PvE is already done serverwide.

IMO merging Odin or Ragna with ANYONE would probably cause a mass exodus of players from those servers. There are SO MANY people on those servers that couldn't be bothered to learn english if their life depended on it, communication would be almost impossible. Storm and Sillu are slightly better in that aspect as-is, but they have been mixed lang for an extremely long time now - and afaik it even caused problems back then, Antriksha and Hellion come to mind. So I don't think another server merge would do the game any good.

Serverwide building for RT / Dred though would be pretty neat, kinda like alliance building for Neviwind Canyon.

I thought if gather as many people as we can in one place then, perhaps, more people will come back and also it can bring new players.

i didnt mean inter-servers, i meant one large server with more count of people.

just look, i know aion from 2.5 versions. but im trying to look at it like a newbie who see this for the first time.

and if newbie woun't see any people around then they (newbies) aren't gonna stay.

but for now it's like pvp with the same players all the time. alas.

and if u newbie u gonna die from 1-2 shots from dinosaurus of servers

i had created this topic to see what ppl think

and all who have read this and have done their votes want aion to be a massively multiplayer online rpg

btw i dont think that bring new players in game is hard quest

they must want stay

People will come back and not leave if the publisher changes their approach to the game and focuses more on the content than on the cash register..

It's been here several times. They merge servers and immediately make x new servers. New players come and because there are no people on the server, they buy everything they need in the shop for euro. GF is happy. People play on a server where there are few people and call: Merge servers! Merge servers! Over time GF merges servers, adds another massive p2w - people leave and so GF immediately creates new servers, attracts new players who don't know the problem of aion. Soon they are calling: Merge Merge! .. It's a story that keeps recurring.

i guess we should say about what players actually need. we need to be heard.

btw i don't think that p2p system is bad in this case. or what do u think ?

There is already a p2p(ish) system with gold packs.

That should've been their main source of income but, GP's are somewhat useless unless u run 20 accounts and tryhard with elite rewards.

A revamp of the vet rewards, made into monthly rather than yearly might spice things up and get people to actually use GP's.

500 luna, 100 enchant stones, 50 stigma enchants, 2 dev essences will go a long way in helping both the community and the game economy. Just reset it monthly and watch an influx on new players coming back.

GP's should be the cash shop currency, not rng boxes.

Literally all endgame content aside of runatorium can be done with ppl from any server. Even open world pvp is taking place in the cross server maps. Making 1 big server would just cause ppl to have even less fps in the main base in inggi/gelk and wouldn't be warmly taken by the players.
