The Asmodians on Tahabata server are just lacking.

During most sieges, leadership is taken by individuals who don't seem to have the brains, the skillset, or the experience to lead effectively. The reason seems to be one legion (whose name I'll keep anonymous) that recruits in excess—10 alliances more than an hour prior to each siege, flooding the LFG with their messages.

After enduring consistent drop-dead-boring failures and poor leadership, many Asmodians have stopped following them altogether. They either skip sieges or prefer to go solo. These so-called "leaders" lack respect, aren't heeded by many, and yet continue to hog the entire LFG channel 60 to 90 minutes ahead of siege times.

While leveling my alt in Fire Temple, I stumbled upon the alts of such so-called "leaders." Acting immaturely, they were quick to blame and hurl accusations at our party leader (it wasn’t me) for poor pulls and practically everything. Then they went, "You can't even manage an FT group, give me leader" and "Tonight, I’ll show you how I own a siege, you can't even lead FT group."

The amusing irony is, he only manages to capture lower abyss sieges, but you'd think he's acting like Connor McGregor in FT.

1, I have not much time to play Aion

2. Dont think I would be a good leader

Good afternoon. Been part of the server since its start and learned a lot about the asmo faction. Still puzzled how such a ragtag team managed to snag so many tahabata weapons, seeing as the player quality leans toward being pretty low—folks don't even seem to get or use their character's skills...

The siege scene is the same, I've been gaming since 2009, seen it all, or so I thought, till tahabata. In over 3 months, attended plenty of top abyss sieges, sadly not all. Witnessed a single proper use of the artifact during asterium's defense, and it saved the fortress. At eye sieges, they've never used them... Asmodians don't just miscalculate the timing, seems like they don't even know it's doable...

Meanwhile, Elyos are pros at deploying them in clutch and other spots, mostly boasting more numbers.

Why critique instead of stepping up...? - Sadly, my spoken English isn't as sharp as needed. So, we siege in groups of 2-3.

The thought I might've picked the wrong side peaked when the world chat blew up about the elder staff and bakarma spear prices, especially when some compared their stats to 45 gold and said - "Who'd be so dumb to buy it with such terrible stats..."

But hey, I’ve gotta say, being in the exclusive Aion Riftshade beta opened my eyes. The issue is quite simple, we Asmodians are way outnumbered by the Elyos, plain and simple.

Forget about artifacts and all. Elyos can beat a dux from full health to just 10% while Asmos can only manage to bring it down to half....

Whatever attempts we make, the server lacks balance in terms of players (54% Elyos versus 46% Asmo)

Though the gap may seem "insignificant," the reality is that certain "weak" leadership (which I won't critique since I wouldn't want that responsibility) mentioned by others is discouraging Asmos from taking part in RvR.

The more often we face defeat, the more exhausted everyone on our side becomes (naturally), and they start thinking, "why bother, we're bound to lose again"

Sadly, this mindset is the downfall of the Asmodians.

We can only cross our fingers and hope for a turnaround in 2.0.....
