I logged in to my account to attempt to resolve a payment issue, and saw there was an open ticket for account deletion that I hadn't submitted. Is there any way at all to get support to close this ticket WITHOUT my account being deleted, or am I just screwed?

At most by writing to support (and not forum), you should be able to send additional message as answer to a ticket at the support page.
I would also recommend reviewing password policy for online accounts, especially the one you care about and/or got anyhow sensitive data of yours.

I did send in a reply to the ticket saying "Please disregard", on top of doing password changes. I mainly checked in here to see if there was anything else I could/should do, or if it was just wait and see.
