Aion Riftshade

Since the migration, whether my game loads has been hit or miss with sometimes multiple attempts to play the game before it would load up, but it eventually would. For the last couple of days I've not been able to load in at all and get a send log error.

Before the migration i had to load the game in compatibility mode which fixed any issues with loading up the game, but that doesn't seem to work any more.

I've contacted support who said to delete a couple of files and the verify files, which I did but it didn't fix the issue and now they say they've sent the details to NCsoft and can't help any more. I've also reinstalled the game which hasn't fixed too.

Can anyone help with this issue?

I had the problem the other day.

Had to delete the game and reinstall in a different folder, no problem launching since then.

Not sure it will help you, but did the trick for me.

That's interesting that that solution would work. I'll give it a go and see what happens

Hello. I have same problem.

Every time i try log system say sand log and send report.

I tried to reinstall the game and put folders of game and louncher innto antivirus exclusions.

I tried to turn off firewall too because in the list of application not appears Aion and i'm not sure wich single files add.

Anyone can suggest me a solution?

uninstall game from Control Panel -> Uninstall a program -> uinstall all from Gameforge client, Aion MMO, Aion client, etc. Then go to search, type %appdata% and delete from there (if it is) also Gameforge client, Aion MMO, Aion, etc.

Thanks but after unistallation i find nothing in APPDATA.

I have reinstalled game twice and always same problem.

Till 2 days ago with old folder i had not this problem.

I added Client and Aion folders in exluded folder of Antivirus, for scan and for real time protection.

In windows firewall Aion doesn't appear. So i put only Gameforge in the allowed files.

If i try add Aion manually, i cannot add complete game but i have to select single files, and i don't know wich are correct to allow game works, because the files in the Aion folder are many.

As an update, I finally managed to kind of fix the issue. I had to launch the client as administrator and then the game would work sometimes. I then changed the game to administrator as well and it worked more times. I've now changed the compatibility mode of the game as well and it seems like it's working more often.

It's early days so far and I'm hoping the fixes are permanent
