Aion Riftshade

Hey there!

After chatting about diving back into Aion for the past 8 years, me, my brother, and a friend finally decided to grab Classic.

But here's the thing: after downloading the GameForge Client, I hit the button for Aion Classic and... nada!

I just get a pop-up to select where to save the files (on D:Aion) and then I click Install, and still, zilch.

Does anyone have any advice? I've tried a few tricks, like bumping the launcher to a higher priority, among other things.

My PC can handle anything, as I'm into 3D Modeling and Animation, never hit any snag with other stuff. It's a bummer because I really want to jump in with my pals

After spending what seemed like ages on it, we discovered two solutions. However, for these to work, you'll need either Aion Classic installed on a separate computer or a friend who already has it up and running.

1. First Choice: Simply download TeamViewer for private use and drag their Aion Classic folder over to your PC. This will initiate a download from their computer to yours, and once downloaded, just click "add game" in the Gameforge client and choose the directory where you've placed the files. It will verify them, and you should be able to play Aion Classic.

2. Second Choice: Instead of downloading, just copy the files onto a memory stick. Plug it in and transfer the files to your drive. The rest aligns with option 1; add the game and let the client verify.

Now, we can jump into Aion together, and it's seriously a blast Hope this becomes a lifesaver for someone!
