has anybody else been banned without any reason? I didn't even receive any mail regarding the ban.

As the message states, contact the support.

They can give you the reason if your ban was justified, or unban you if it wasn't.

Either way, the forum can't really help much.

There have been plenty of players who get autobanned for using a VPN, trading AP or buying Kinah for example.

Seems like we've had a ban wave today. Some players on Discord were complaining aswell.

don't get your hopes up for an answer before monday/tuesday, support doesn't work at weekends

I've been banned without reason yesterday. Have not done anything illegal to my knowledge. It seems a good idea to let people know why they are banned... but maybe that's just me. Also how long does support take to answer a ticket about this ? (dont know how its possible this is not automated in 2023)

Support never bans without any reason If you contact them I'm sure they will give you the reason and unban you if it was a mistake.

They usually answer within a few hours, max one working day.

Looks like the support team isn't active in the afternoons; it's been a full day and I'm still banned with no clue why xD

Just got the reason for the ban. They think the name ''underhuman'' violates their TOS and game rules, which is crazy. I'd love to see how this supposedly breaks any rules. Major companies like Blizzard, Google, and Riot Games have never flagged it in over a decade. I've never once been told it was inappropriate. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to defend this.

On a side note, I recently joined the Aion Riftshade beta, and the support there is amazing. The GMs are active in the Discord and actually help you immediately. Feels more like a community than just a game. Looking forward to playing more when it launches in Q1 2026.

Underhuman roughly translates into German as "Untermensch", which is a popular term that followers of Adolf Hitler used to describe jews, homosexuals, disabled people, and so on.

This term was also used by Hitler himself to describe everyone who isn't Aryan, or is considered racially worthless.

If there's a reason you got banned because of your character name, this has to be it.

I was informed about this on discord yesterday by some folks. Strange connection, never realized it before. Maybe that's why I got banned.

Yet, the term wasn't coined by Hitler in English, and it’s never been linked with my username before. I’ve never supported any twisted Nazi beliefs or promoted that nonsense... Context gives words their power and meaning. No words are inherently bad, it’s about the intention behind them. That's what happened recently in what was meant to be a simple conversation about the name ’underhuman’ - suddenly someone claimed my name is offensive, and used the word ’dense’ to try and ridicule me, showing how ordinary words can be twisted to spread hate. My intention was never malicious, and I've used this name for over a decade on platforms like Google, Blizzard, Riot Games, etc. This is the first I've heard about any German translation - sometimes it's about what's on your mind and what you choose to see. You can prove just about anything if you're determined - like saying I'm a bad person for my username. But it's a fact that I was unaware of any translation or any ties to Nazi stuff with it.

The name’s origins are truly innocent. I was playing Aion more than a decade ago and called myself overhuman - I was pretty bad at the game and someone jokingly suggested I should be underhuman. I immediately switched to character selection and created Underhuman, sticking with it across all my gaming accounts since then.
