Quote from KeymakerDisplay MoreI'm writing this guide, as I'm a person who struggles with just watching a video with no written explanation of what is happening.
So here is a quick and simple guide for the Mirash Refuge
Entrance.
The entrance to Mirash is through either the doorway inside the Divine Fortress. (Available when your faction owns the fortress).
If the other faction owns the fortress, the entrance can be found outside, you will need to fly underneath and find the entrance doorway.
If the fortress is balaur, noone has entry. The entrance to Mirash is in Lakrum.
Before you enter.
Ensure you have two types of healing items that don't share the same cooldown i.e. Serums and as secondary Saam's King Herbs/Nutritious Meals
Set a Keybind for potions (if you have a gaming mouse with extra buttons, program these to use the same slots your potions are in).
You can also set a keybind for the Grappling Claw, which you will need throughout the dungeon to escape the
First Room
When you enter, you are placed into a room with a pit to your left. In the middle of the pit is a named NPC who will drop the 'Grappling Hook'
Take the hook, select the ladder and then use the grappling hook to teleport up. Make your way to the right side of the room with a second ladder, use the grappling hook and make your way into the hall way.
*Important: If you are not standing close enough to the ladder, you will rebound
Hall Way
Kill the 2 Balaur NPC's who are in your way. (1 is patrolling and then the 2nd is static) There is a small staircase (which has balaur standing on it) and also a patrolling balaur. Wait until the patrol is on the stairs, then use the grappling hook on the ladder next to the stairs.
Entrance to Code Room
Once you have left the hall you will encounter another static Balaur, kill him and then proceed into the large room, you will see balaur on left and right, just through the middle to the platform infront of you with a ladder. Climb the ladder using the hook, and kill the NPC.
There is a patrol in this room. As it passes the platform jump towards the NPC who has the 'Key' to the control room (he is named). He spawns on either the left or right side. It is possible to taunt him without aggroing the 2nd balaur who is with him. Loot the key and then kill the Balaur who is standing outside the code room. (Patrol should have started heading back towards you)
Code Room
This is a timed section of the instance.
Inside there are 3 NPCS who you have to kill, they are the Large Balaur. Each Balaur has a token that has an image on it. you will need to get all 3 tokens to learn what the code is. The Green circles indicate the usual position they are found in.
There are 6 floating tablets in the room (not 5 as indicated in the image)
Also inside is 3 Patrolling Elites. They hit hard damage but if you do aggro, there are 4 platforms with ladders you can just Teleport to using the grappling hook.
Two are patrolling in a circle on the outer edge and the 3rd is patrolling on an inner circle. If you wait for the patrol to pass, you can aggro the balaur with the token into a corner and DPS him until dead.
When you have the three tokens, open your inventory to see what they look like. They have unique images. These relate to the floating tablets in the room. whose images are on the inside of the tablet, facing into the middle of the room. You will need to look at the inside of the tablets and the 3 tokens you have should match the tablet. Click the Tablet (make sure a patrol isn't close before you activate as it is a slow activation)
If you manage to do this within the time limit, you will find a large chest as you exit the code room.
2nd Hall Way
This is a hall with a balaur who has a key, kill him for the key and avoid the patrols. You can do this by using the grappling hook onto the platforms and wait for them to pass.
Kalida Room
This is another timed room.
In the above diagram you can see there are 5 Kalida's. Four of them are 'Focused Kalida', one of them is 'Compressed Kalida'. To complete this room you need to find the Compressed Kalida and kill him. The first time, you will hit him until he's 75% health, this will stop him and then he will move to another location. You find him a 2nd time and knock his health down to about 50% and then the 3rd time, til he's dead. If you fail to do this within the time limit, then you will have to kill a balaur who is waiting by the exit.
If you manage to do this within the time limit you will get a large chest outside.
Also in this room is a patrolling NPC who walks around the four pillars in the room. he is carrying a chest. If you kill him during the timer, you will be granted a 2nd chest. (you do not have to loot it within the time limit, just kill the balaur). If you do not kill the balaur, he will disappear either after the time limit has expired or you kill the compressed time limit.
Balaur Patrols - The first two Balaur in the room just move back and for and you can easily avoid them)
The Balaur on either side of the room patrol left and right and then up and down towards the stairs.
There is a middle balaur who walkes up and down the middle of the Square.
The final balaur patrols infront of the 2 staircases to the exit and walks up the stairs (but he does not move towards the Middle Kalida)
The patterns are fixed so it is easy to navigate the room within the time limit if you are patient and watch your aggro radius.
3rd Hallway
Same as 2nd Hallway but no key to loot. There is an invisible elite patrolling in a circle at the end of the corridor. If you aggro him, run back and jump onto the platform with the ladder (he will not turn back invisible and you can avoid him. At the end is the path towards Kirshka boss Ice will fall from ceiling and 3 balaur will run towards you. Kill them.
FINAL BOSS ROOM
This is the best method to use for most classes
Ensure that your Graphics Skill Effects are set to HIGH and to ALL
1) Starting Position: Jump down and start in position 1 as indicated on the image below
This is extremely important. ensure your camera angle can see both platforms behind the Boss
DPS the boss and keep yourself at full heal all the time
2) Beam Skill
She will cast a few skills and then cast her first skill which is a Beam (Like Idium Ray on a Tech).
As soon as she starts casting, either move sideways or directly behind her into position 2 and continue to DPS (use healing if needed)
The first time you do this she might cast the Beam skill a 2nd time before using floor skill
2) AOE Floor Skill with Safe Zone
When the boss casts this skill, most of the floor will recieve AOE damage. There is a safe zone indicated on the floor. (This is ALWAYS behind her), this is the reason why if you always maintain position 1 or position 2. you will know the safe zone is directly opposite you. (If you have a skill which jumps you forward youcan use it here)
3) Full AOE Skill
If you are in position 1 on the image below you should be able to see platforms A and B. When the boss uses her skill, a safe zone will be created on the platforms A,B,C,D. The reason for looking at both platforms is because the ice will stop falling on the platform about 2-3 seconds before she will start casting her skill.
When she starts casting, if one of the platforms in front of you is safe. Run towards it and you can press Tab to switch to the ladder (another option is to mark the ladders 1,2,3,4) This is much quicker than selecting the ladder with your mouse
When you arrive on the platform, move to the back slightly. quickly swing your camera around to see the aoe effect of the skill.
As soon as it is cast. Jump down and move back to position 1 or 2., continue to DPS and use both types of healing to maintain your health.
If you are looking at 2 platforms and neither of them become safe when the boss begins to cast, you then only have 2 options to look at behind you, left or right.
You also need to make sure you are close enough to the ladder to use the grappling hook or you will rebound and then die. You will also die if you are too close to the edge when the skill is cast.
4) Follow the above and maintain health until the boss is dead.
You will be rewarded with a Chest containing Valuable items (or not so valuable
)
This video is a good example of what to do.
nice guide Keymaker , helpful
Awww Senpai, you brought over the guide, cheers!
The last room has slightly changed since the guide was wrote.
All the platforms now become safe spots at the same time.
The boss pattern is now Beam Skill, AOE Floor skill with Safezone, Beam Skill, Full AOE.
This is probably now only relevant to newplayers who have never done it before or undergeared alts. Most players should be able to kill Kirskha before she even gets to the full AOE skill
outdated, tho (as many other posts from the old forum)
Nerfed Mirash version is in Lakrum, Kalida's room has not any more the NPC carrying the extra-chest, the four final boss room safe platform aren't activating randomly but all together and there'll be no need to carry any potion with you... a peace of cake
Most players should be able to kill Kirskha before she even gets to the full AOE skill
A lot have changed indeed. However, it's more about class than the player itself. I have alts with just plain quest gear and the boss is different for each one. A sin goes through 2 full AOE while a sorc/sm/cleric can kill without even starting the first one, using the exact same gear.

Do you want to "revamp" it? If you don't want to I can update it.
