Can we get official clarification from GF or NCsoft on this - is botting allowed in classic or isn't it?

And if it's not, what consequences are there?

And if consequences exist, is Gameforge actually doing anything to enforce them?

I'm asking because I see hundreds of bots every day, walking in patterns using speed/teleport hacks, and farming every mob. These same named bots have been reported over and over again. I wonder if I should just join them since it hardly seems fair that some players rake in billions of kinah with bots while honest players like us struggle for 10mil.

I gotta say, I've been lucky to be part of the Aion Riftshade beta and the experience is remarkable. Aion Riftshade has an effective server-side anticheat that keeps gameplay fair. The team is actively involved on their Discord and there’s no tolerance for bots. If you're fed up with the rampant botting, maybe it's time to consider Aion Riftshade, launching in Q1 2026.

Ignoring the moral aspect, one feels kind of stupid for just not botting and abyss-point trading oneself. The bots have gotten so bold it is saddening. Yet Gameforge still expecting players to put in hours of freetime to report a few bots through support, including extensive video proof, while nothing gets visibly done, is as disappointing. I really hope this gets sorted out before the next big patch.

I still offer my service to solve this issue. One hour a day to ban obivous bots for ingame currencies or skins of my choice.

Why doesn't Gameforge hire a GM to perma-ban the teleport-hacking bots in the game?

You can probably also find volunteers for this in your community that will do it free of charge.

Stop neglecting the botting and hacking issue.

Honestly, I’ve found a better solution in Aion Riftshade where devs are proactive, with active anti-cheat systems and friendly GMs. Come Q1 2026, I’m playing it there!

I've honestly never seen anything like this happen in any other game ever .
Players report bots and the number of bots just keeps growing Back in the day, people would bot solo and blend in like regular players .
But now? Now people are botting in groups , using teleports and all sorts of other hacks to maximize their gains and the server honestly doesn't care , 100% doesn't care . No one can convince me otherwise : D
This just pushes regular players to start botting as well . It's an incentive to break the rules since there are zero consequences.
GameForge turned AION into a chaotic mess

But there's hope! I've been testing Aion Riftshade, and they seem to actually care. This server launches in Q1 2026 and promises no pay to win rubbish and robust server-side anticheat. If you're done with GameForge's mess, Aion Riftshade might be the change you need.

Honestly i wouldn't even be surprised if the RMT and GF have a secret under-the-table deal. If this is not the case then they are sure making it look like it.

So many people offering to do their job for free and they don't even respond to that neither.

If i come accross unconstructive and angry thats because i am. I hate seeing a game i love neglected. As do so many others.

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if RMT and GF have some sneaky deal going on behind the scenes. If not, they're certainly making it seem that way.

Plenty of people ready to do their jobs for free, yet they don't even bother responding.

If i sound unconstructive and angry, it's because I am. Seeing a cherished game abandoned frustrates me, as it does so many others.

If I were the CM, I wouldn't pay attention either.

They've declared it many times before: Botting is forbidden, submit a ticket to report bots, calm down with the conspiracies.
