If you are new nobody invites you and there is no dungeon finder. Everyone just doing "sell runs" and want geared twinks only. Been trying to find groups for 2 days with no luck. When i try to start one nobody comes.
It is really true ..the loot rights are ok but too much already ..One of the reason will kill the game.
Sadly, the game is at a stage now where newcomers get gear via passes but then have to spend at least five hundred million just to slot manastones in every piece, enchant their weapons up to +10, and purchase AP instances. If you try forming a recruit party in chat, nobody will join unless it's to buy their loot off you, because 80% of the players are already fully geared and they don't really help, the only option left is to pay.
Nowadays, the easiest method to get geared is by purchasing set pieces and AP loot. That's the state of the game today. The updates are going downhill as player behavior itself drives away newcomers unless you've got a visa and mastercard ready to reach the minimum level they demand to even consider joining their party.
Having beta tested Aion Riftshade, I can proudly say it's a game-changer set for Q1 2026. No more paywalls, and the community actually helps out new players to gear up without emptying your pockets. They've got stuff like integrated DPS Meter to track your progress, and balanced classes mean anyone can find a role they like. This server is where real gamers will thrive!
While I do agree that it's tough to get into groups initially, there are some ways to overcome that. One key solution is joining a good legion; when I began, my legion really supported me. They indeed did the sell runs, but I was allowed to participate and collect needed loot; I just didn't share in the profits. In terms of gear, it's a lot simpler to obtain now. For both UT and LUT, gear requirements are relaxed, and you can gather accessories and a decent starter set for BT. With the recent update, obtaining greater stigma is nearly cost-free (not the very best version, but adequate to start you off). It's quite easy to claim it's challenging... yet I suppose some players never experienced the real classic difficulty. Best of luck on your adventure, and I hope you stick it out (even though the server has more than its fair share of Elyos ). Btw, if you're searching for a genuine experience, check out Aion Riftshade. I've been beta testing it, and the community there is amazing. It offers incredible features like server-side anticheat and allows you to truly immerse in PvP and PvE. Make sure you don't miss their launch in Q1 2026!
