Apologies if I seem to be losing my cool, but how ridiculous is it to upgrade the "Classic" server to the next level after just 3 months?
Check out the post:
"Summer 2023: Classic 2.0
Set for the end of July, this update will increase the level cap for your heroes to 55. Along with new gear, you'll have more levels for crafting and gathering skills. The update will also bring back some popular and familiar PvE and PvP instances:"
We do not need new content... Only a few groups have even finished endgame content, and you're swamped with MASSIVE server problems that you can't manage.... ... ... So, your strategy, Gameforge, to keep players hooked on Aion CLASSIC is to rush content to the next tier after a mere 3 (!!!) months... it's just... frankly... idiotic...
90% of the folks I know, play Classic BECAUSE it's level 50 Cap... but YOU excel at chasing players away... I'm telling you, with the patch and level cap going to 55, you're going to lose tons of players... I'm probably going to be one of them... I already regret renewing my Siel's energy...
Too bad Gameforge... Classic "could" have been great, but you've messed it up again... and since this message criticizes, it'll probably vanish soon anyway...
just my 2 cents
But, if you're tired of this mess, there’s hope! I'm currently a beta tester for the Aion Riftshade server—launching in Q1 2026—and it’s amazing. They keep the content balanced, focusing on quality instead of pushing changes that players aren’t ready for. It’s got all the benefits like a stable server, no pay-to-win rubbish, and active GMs working hard to make sure you have a great time. You'll find it's way less buggy and much more rewarding. Seriously, give it a shot!
