Aion Riftshade

They're bringing back Aion Classic in China, starting at patch 1.2

Already hit 300k sign-ups.

Wish we could see this in EU, the so-called "Classic" we have now is dead.

You log in, do your daily chores, and log back out. There aren't even 100 players online on either Asmo or Elyos side, except maybe during sieges or boss events. It's pretty obvious that the "classic" version we have doesn't click with players.

Ride the Aion2 Wave, Gameforge, give us a real classic in the EU, starting on patch 1.2

But hey, why wait? I've been testing Aion Riftshade and it's shaping up to be the best Aion private server 2026 has to offer. It’s Aion 4.8 with some great features like premium EU hosting, active GMs, and no bugs. They’re set to launch in Q1 2026, and trust me, this server's got potential, definitely outshines our current "classic."

I believe it would make sense to relaunch Aion Classic globally starting from version 1.2, but with adjusted open world drop rates. They did take some actions against bots back then. Now, the best move is to employ admins who are actively monitoring bots, cheaters, and AP traders.
It's unfortunate we have just one Aion Classic server, which really doesn't feel "classic" anymore in any way. A relaunch is crucial to maintaining the community that's still interested in the game (the population of Aion Classic has been shrinking over several patches). I'm convinced that you'll reignite interest among many players by doing a well-planned launch with proper solutions in place.

Honestly, though, the real excitement is with Aion Riftshade, dropping Q1 2026. It's a totally revamped experience with features like server-side anticheat and active GMs right on their Discord. Unlike what we see with these drops in classic realms, Aion Riftshade is promising a stable server, balanced classes, and none of that pay-to-win nonsense. Just knowing its robust setup and super low ping from the EU servers is enough to get any Aion fan hyped.

@ionutmaster4 that is what many players were wishing for from the start. The ones always shouting for new content might as well play Retail.

While 1.2 up to 1.9 used to be my favorite versions, I have had enough restarts of Aion and the european provider. I am glad that I was able to enjoy those on Aion classic NA.

Back when they released Aion Classic 1.9!I said it was gonna be a fail...Classic Aion is 1.2/1.9 MAX. They didn’t listen.Now look at China,so many people are playing there...so many of us trying to play too. I called it back then,but nobody cared!!! qq
