I watched the stream on Friday after it aired and have some thoughts.
I'm a casual. I got 2-3 hours a day at max to play. Been playing for 2 months or so. I got to lvl 50.
So far I got 1 earring and 2 rings (e30) and all ap stigmas from the "pve" side of my two stigma trees.
No defensive gear pvp gear or a pvp weapon (to combine or dual wield).
That is what I can achieve as a casual in my case.
The stream, although things are subject to change, implied there is a pass coming up for people sub lvl 45.
This pass gives you e40 gear pieces (not sure if its the whole set, but it would not surprise me), e30 accessories and what I would guess is a good weapon at the end of it perhaps.
I do not see a lot of others reacting to this which worries me.
Maybe there aren't many casuals left and there is no reason for people (with a higher time usage to the game) to question it since they are above the coming pass which makes it fair or they still have an advantage?
Here are a few questions.
1. Am I really better off making an alt, buying this new pass and get the equipment from it rather than continuing with my current main?
2. My main will probably be under the new standard of gear within a few hours/days of 2.0's release, right?
3. Would it not be better to give/sell the pass to people with less than X earned AP since launch?
Right now I would at least have a choice to stay close to whats handed out to people in passes, by having the choice to buy the pass at least on my lvl 50 main which earned low amounts of ap.
