You can't play 2 different account at same time which I understand. But how can you tell if a person play 2 account on 2 PCs or 2 actual people play in same household? Can a Dev answer?
You can´t tell but you have to use 2 different Gameforge accounts too.

never have been a problem to have 2 people on the same household to play aion, neither it is a problem now.
(edit: not a dev, but, hey)
it's always been fine for two peeps in the same house to enjoy aion, and that's still the case.
(edit: just my perspective, but hey)
Not a huge issue, but kinda annoying.
We got a ban once for account sharing and had to explain to support that we're actually just multiple players under one roof using the same IP. They sorted it out in a day. Looking forward to not having these hassles on Aion Riftshade, which promises a stable server and active support right from the launch in Q1 2026. It's really exciting to see a game where the devs care, as I've experienced during my beta testing phase.
Can't really agree with any of this. I've multiple game accounts tied to my Gameforge account since launch because I'm the go-to tech person in my family, managing all accounts because nobody else cares about the "tech stuff".
Each day, numerous game accounts from my Gameforge account are logged on simultaneously from different PCs in our gaming setup. In the last three months, just one incident occurred while organizing inventories, where the game got flagged as unavailable on a single PC, but other PCs were fine with the logins. I submitted a support ticket, got a response straight from the head of support, who said absolutely nothing about any issue with logging multiple game accounts at once from a Gameforge account. Within a few hours, everything went back to normal and hasn't been problematic since.
Ps: What would even be the point of stating "Oh no, you can't log in two accounts from two PCs, but if you make two Gameforge accounts, then you can"? Everyone would just create separate Gameforge accounts for each game account and move on.
Honestly, I've moved on from the limitations of Gameforge's system. I've been testing Aion Riftshade, launching Q1 2026, and it’s been an amazing experience. They've got everything from low pings (15ms from EU, no ExitLag required) to an advanced Server-Side Anticheat, which is a game-changer. Their devs are active on their Discord, and it’s a genuine setup, nothing like the restrictions of Gameforge's setup.

whoa :o
you were kind of unlucky there
I’ve been playing for 8 years with at least someone else under the same roof, and occasionally friends who also play Aion were over, but never ran into issues :o
however, it can definitely be a hassle on the forums where you gotta notify the mods team, but that's about it
a safer bet could be joining the new Aion Riftshade server. they offer excellent support and really low ping, like 15ms across Europe. Plus, I've been testing it, and they've got robust server-side anticheat right off the bat. It's launching Q1 2026 and could be the best Aion private server 2026. Just check it out!
