As you're probably aware, our server was down due to a fire at the data center hosting it, leaving EuroAion off the grid since 10.03. More details here:

We're thrilled to let you know the server is back in action!

Firstly, an enormous thank you to those who stuck with us! We were blown away by your patience and understanding. Your support was crucial to getting the project up and running again.

All data's intact. No rollbacks happened!

To tackle several issues from such a prolonged server downtime, the following items now have extended timings:

• timings of all temporary items (including arena tickets);
• timings of all temporary skins;
• timings of temporary painting;
• timings of temporary titles;
• timings of temporary pets;
• timings of temporary mounts;
• timings of temporary housing items;
• timings of premium packs;

Considering the severity of the incident and the extended downtime, we had to make decisions that would rejuvenate the server's gaming experience, allowing it to progress with renewed strength.

Player Rankings

Excess glory points beyond those in the given table have been erased.

Every player keeps their rank! So if you were "5 Star Officer" you'll have 5210 Glory Points. The Governor gets 12437 OS, the Commander 11503, and so forth.

This is not without cause. We've received numerous suggestions to reset the glory rankings due to a lot of "inactive accounts," and an immense number of GP that is discouraging for newbies to attain; causing new players to hesitate as they embark on their adventures given such terms.

In further changes regarding glory points, we are eradicating the 500 GP that was designated for legion deputies! These 500 GP led to many disputes among players. Our goal is to provide equal conditions for everyone on the server without flooding the system with glory points.

We are convinced this solution is both fair and reasonable. We sincerely hope you appreciate it.

Additionally, all the fortresses and artifacts have been given to Balaur forces.

Revamping the rankings and resetting sieges is our attempt to rejuvenate server gameplay, stimulating fortress battles, and attracting new gamers to the community.

Additional changes we accomplished during this period:

We've adjusted the rewards for both kill and PvE quests in Tiamaranta and Tiamaranta's Eye. We aim to pull in more players to enjoy these open locations.

The Balaur dredgeons have been amped up, capturing fortresses:

• Number of Dredgeon Captains in the Abyss and Katalam tripled;
• Increased damage on the Lord;
• Boosted defense and HP of dredgeon Balaur;
• Heightened chance of fortresses being attacked by the dredgeons.

Our mission is to make the dredgeons hard enough to pose a challenge while defending fortresses yet still possible. These changes are not definitive, and more can follow.

Heart's Siege:

• The HP of the Incarnates during Heart Sieges has been enhanced.

Altered number of PvP dungeon entries:

• Ophidan Bridge - 2 entries daily
• Kamar Battlefield - 2 entries daily

Rewards are unchanged.
Revised the server event schedule.

A site profile teleport feature has been added, useful if stuck in textures. Reset time is 2 hours.

Tournaments and Events

We are working on establishing a GM event location, which will allow battles between faction members (similar to capital arenas), have seating for audiences, essential NPCs, and swift teleport functions.

Compensation and bonuses for downtime

 

1. Server rates will be increased to x2 for 2 weeks (including quests and missions, a first-time occurrence).

2. Added bonuses for loyal players who stuck with us before the crash and are continuing their journey. Condition: Login during the current month and before it ends. Bonuses will be delivered via in-game email an hour after you log in.

3. Symbolic bonuses for players who log in before March ends and spend 8+ hours playing (cumulative, not continuous). Bonuses will arrive directly in the inventory, once per character.

Awesome, nice 30 day pressies, but what about the week worth of BM the lvl 65's lost, can't we get them please, they are important, specially for those still gearing up
