Can templars give me some recommedations on what runes to use for PVE and PVP please

For PVE, I heard templar saying they are using additional damage, increase attack and area of effect runes.
If you don't have 3 attack slot and you have a support, you can either use heal rune (the one which increases received heal by 10%) or drop loot. (or xp rune) (but in general I keep it for farming)
