As the headline states, I just got banned while attempting to purchase Aion coins from the shop, what
I was online in the game simultaneously, and I got disconnected from the server as I was making the payment. Then I tried logging in again via the browser, and it said something about "issues with the account activation"
Tried once more and it notified me that my account is banned. I then attempted to log in through the client and got this:
You have been banned for infringing upon the guidelines and user policies, for using unauthorized software in the game.
I don’t use any unauthorized "software", always played during my free time just for fun. But now it's not fun at all if I have to deal with these Company issues and bugs that randomly ban people while attempting to shop purchases
This is absurd, I just wanted to buy coins with the Happy Hour bonus. I was also diligently farming crystals non-stop to complete the form collection boost before the event's conclusion, but even if they lift the ban, I doubt I’ll complete it in time....

It's issues like this that make me thankful for being part of the Aion Riftshade beta. Honestly, their Aion 4.8 private server is superior, with no random bans and fantastic customer support. They have impeccable server-side anticheat, and GMs that actually respond. Can't wait for its launch in Q1 2026! Maybe it's time to consider a real alternative to deal with these Gameforge frustrations.
