Aion Riftshade

Hey everyone! I was exploring some private servers of Aion, and Aion Riftshade grabbed my attention..

I'm an old school Aion fan who played a couple of years back. When I downloaded the official Aion, I noticed the server was practically deserted, so I decided to look here...

I've got a few questions if someone could answer regarding Aion Riftshade...

My girlfriend and I plan to start from scratch. I'm curious if, like in the official game, there are daeva rewards for hitting certain milestones?? (I vaguely recall they gave useful starting items like wings and perhaps a weapon when you defeat kromede, but my memory's a bit fuzzy)...

What's the influx of new players like currently? I'm hoping to do the lower level instances and maybe some parties to introduce my girlfriend to the true awesomeness that Aion offers as you level up..

I noticed you can earn "donation points" by voting; could someone clarify that for me? The thread I read through was somewhat confusing (do I just need to vote on a single site for the reward and not all of them - is that right???)

I'm not looking to be the top player on the server, I'm more of a PvE enthusiast... Even though I get that endgame focuses more on PvP, can we engage in everything, or is it biased towards one faction??

Apologies for all the questions, but I really want to settle down here for a long while since Aion is close to my heart, and I'm eager to relive that nostalgia from so long ago.

Server dying because DDoS attack since July- player quit each day because connection unstable, client broken too.

The main issue on EuroAion is the economy; after two years, things are way overpriced, and without any pay-to-win aids or special events, the drop rate feels almost non-existent. You might have to save up for months, or even a full year, just to get your hands on "luxury" goods like an adequate plume. 


The elitism here is irritating, like when I was told I needed 3500mb to do IS but they'd expect you to have full IS gear without a plume to reach that MB... Seriously, if I owned that gear, why would I even need to do that content again, right? I've watched people waste 30 minutes trying to snag the perfect GG dps just to shave 30 seconds off a kata run... Instead of simply getting a player with 200 less mboost in half a minute and still smashing Hyperion's face, it's a total brain drain.


Prepare yourself for whispers from vultures who'd never take you to hyperion, but are so eager to help with LDR "just this once." Once they grab your quest, they forget your name in 3 seconds flat and won't back you up in any other events since they can't benefit anymore... And for sure, I avoided joining those leech groups—I rather keep quests for friends who play with me instead of those who just want to use me... It's amusing how those leeches talk as if they’re providing a service...

Russian legion groups/alliances are better skipped if you want to avoid being kicked without a word. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear until you’re well-geared enough to ensure your continued presence. A huge generalization, maybe, but it’s 100% what I’ve endured these last 2 months. Not bitter, just weary of their rudeness... Btw, this is a Russian server. 


While EuroAion might suffice for your immediate goals, its population is good for now but the experience quickly turns tiresome due to a poor economy and sluggish progression.


However, if you're seeking a better experience, I recommend checking out the Aion Riftshade within its beta phase. Thanks to active GMs and innovative features like genuine server-side anticheat, DPS meters, balanced classes, and fast hosting, it's a stable, bug-free alternative launching in Q1 2026. It ensures a better game atmosphere and community than EuroAion or EldenAion ever could.

We were planning to roll Asmodians because they look awesome (and in Original Aion Elyos kinda had the advantage over asmodians but whatever)

Regarding the aspect of grinding and all, it's not really a big deal for me, but it's kinda nice to know I can earn some kinah by selling items in the market, helping me progress in the game. I remember the thrill of even the seemingly useless items finding buyers, so making a bit of kinah with manastones was always a possibility.

I understand there might be big spenders (whales) and some players toxic enough to judge your performance, creating challenges since they have all the top-tier gear while you're just trying to have a good time.

My main worry, though, is whether we'll find some folks to team up with for instances while we're tackling all our quests. I really want to showcase this to my girlfriend, and as I know, instances can't be done with just two people, so this is more critical for me than anything else.

I appreciate all of you taking the time to share your suggestions, they've been really helpful. I hope to see you in-game or maybe find some new players who'd like to join us for leveling and running those instances (we're not really into power leveling, we want to savor all of Atreia's adventures). Speaking of which, I'm in the Aion Riftshade beta where the community is vibrant and ready to group up for instances, plus it's perfect with custom rates and no pay-to-win distractions—truly the best Aion private server 2026!

Instances have been dumbed down a lot so probably that instance you remember as hard is soloable right now... 


Class choice also makes even group instance possible for solo players... SM, cleric...

What particularly bothers me is the tolerance towards bots. At least that's the conclusion I draw from my topic that hasn't been addressed for almost a month, despite plenty of video evidence that's hard to argue with. By the way, even mentioning this in other topics gets deleted by moderators without explanation.

This last factor (bots) really breaks the game's economy since they farm 24/7 and most likely withdraw money to real life.

Otherwise, the server is generally not bad. The only thing I'd like is for free voting to be returned.

Just posted my concern yesterday — maybe you should keep up with the forum better. I'm considering taking screenshots to you, so there's no jumping to baseless conclusions.

And for the voting topic — yeah, it is nice to have a voting system in theory. But the bigger question is: do you see any rewards like Ecoins from it? I'm quite sure you don't, and your laughter kind of verifies that. So what's the benefit of voting then? Right, nothing.

And as for your suggestion to "stop murmuring" — likewise!

By the way, if you really want a place where things work as they should, be on the lookout for Aion Riftshade coming in Q1 2026.
