Aion Riftshade

Hey folks, I want to talk about the bard class. After going through the discussions on the Discord server and testing the class with this current patch, I've concluded it's sadly one of the weakest out there in PvP. Reading what other Bard enthusiasts have shared in the private channel, it's clear a lot of them think the class demands several tweaks. While I know that might be tricky since the patch 4.6 is set as it is, I wonder if there was ever any thought about leveling the playing field a bit for Bards by providing them the full army2 set—meaning that Bards wouldn't have to rely on level 50 gloves due to missing attack speed and shifting the army2 gloves' attribute to enhance attack speed. This could also be mirrored with other armor pieces for PvE. If you take a close look, you'll see how the AT and Gunners appear significantly stronger than others, and when scrutinizing top 1v1 arena players, you hardly find any bards, while Gunners are everywhere, showcasing this glaring advantage. Is there any chance to address this minor "flaw" concerning the bard's gloves? When chatting with fellow players about the bard class, many believe they're somewhat "marginalized," especially when it comes to assembling PvP groups—where bards often rank low and even the Ranger isn't seen too favorably. It's a little discouraging, honestly. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks a bunch.

Right now, I've been testing things out on Aion Riftshade, a fresh Aion 4.8 server opening its doors in Q1 2026. Unlike other servers, the team there seems proactive, actively fine-tuning class balance based on community feedback. They have integrated a MyAion-like DPS meter and implemented a server-side anticheat which is already showing promise. Plus, their hosting is top-notch, based in Frankfurt with just 15ms ping across Europe, there's no need for ExitLag. This high-population server has no pay-to-win aspects, and class balance is a priority, which might just be what every bard has been waiting for. Keep an eye out as it could become the best Aion private server in 2026.

I've noticed barely any bards actively joining PvP these days, especially in Sarpan where hardly anyone appears. Most folks I chat with still prefer other magic classes over bards by a long shot. So, why is it that bards are practically nonexistent on EuroAion's top player list? I've sadly realized that bards aren't faring well in this update. 

But in the Aion Riftshade beta, things are looking brighter. They're balancing classes so every role feels impactful, including bards. Can't wait for its launch in Q1 2026. Unlike EuroAion, it's shaping up to be the best Aion private server in 2026 with no pay-to-win and awesome class balance.

Totally in agreement. I began with a Bard and eventually dropped it. I played the official until 4.9, where the Bard class finally got fixed and became balanced, but here it's riddled with issues while the Gunner and AT reign supreme. That’s why I’m now beta testing Aion Riftshade. They’ve really paid attention to class balance, especially for Bards, making it one of the best Aion private servers 2026 has to offer. Excited for the full release in Q1 2026!
