Aion Riftshade

I have been trying out this server for several weeks, and recently a Dutch site I use notified me about a security breach that coincidentally matches the username and password combo I use on this particular Aion server. Interestingly, the breach reportedly took place in Paris, France (check the attached image of the alert), and this server/their admins also seem to be based in France. I'm not sure if their server lacks proper security or if they are collecting passwords themselves, but be cautious not to use passwords linked to your pivotal accounts on this server. If they are, change them right away!

The fact that our server is hostet in France doesn't mean that your account on another website was accessed by our server. And ecpecially that now VPN is used so widely. We would suggest to you to change all your passwords. Our precaution is made on the purpose to prevend the hacking of several accounts at once of the same person.

REMOVE THE PIC FROM YOUR POST (Admins should delete it as it's visible to others, not wise to post in public)

It's a "phishing" email aimed at making you click a link or button, directing you to a malicious website, or causing a virus to download when clicked.

Worried about your password or account details? The key is to check links by right-clicking on them, selecting "copy link address," then pasting them into PhishingCheck or Link Checker.

SMS? They aim to steal your identity. Many mobile numbers are linked with names and addresses, so they gain info on you. Worst case? They swipe all your contacts, putting them at risk too.

Marketplace Team? That's news to me, not even in EuroAion, and I know the EuroAion Mods/Admins won't ask for your account passwords.

Safety is key, so if anyone impersonates EuroAdmin GM or Staff you don't recognize and requests your account credentials, take a screenshot and report it directly to Mods/Admins here or utilize the report section.

For example, similar login alerts come from a Google account. Logging in on another device makes it show your IP address and location for verification. This Marketplace doesn't do that (another flaw noted).
