First, level up to 80, and if you're running solo, tackle the quests in Lakrum for some foundation gear.
PvE Side
Initially, you can go solo in Narakkalli to gather ancient gear.
Join forces with a team for Holy Tower to obtain ancient items with a chance at a much-needed legendary piece.
After collecting gear from these, you can either form or join a group for runs in Makarna Of Bitterness or Prometun Workshop (easy mode) for loads of legendary gear and a few ultimate items. Once outfitted, you can join a group for Stella (easy mode).
After gearing up significantly, it's time to aim for Prometun Workshop (Difficult) and Stella (normal).
PvP Field
In Lakrum, tackle garrison tasks to earn Genesis crystals. Participate in sieges and lugbug missions for extra crystals.
Head to your faction's primary Lakrum base to exchange those crystals for a full ancient PvP set. This set's pivotal because you can boost your ancient PvP into legendary, and ultimately, Ultimate. Prepare to invest a great deal of AP, etium, and enchantment stones for enhancements.
Once you're well-geared, redirect Genesis crystals to snag ancient pvp enchantment stones.
Attributes
As a cleric, prioritize boosting HP, healing, and defense stats. Although DPS clerics are less frequent nowadays, you're the architect of your build, tailoring gear stats to your needs. On armor, opt for HP + defense (or offensive) stats. On weapons and accessories, aim for HP + healing + defensive/offense stats.
Additional Tips
- Purchase 6 Deavanion fragments every week at Lakrum main base (cost: 480k AP) and combine them with 100 genesis crystals to produce a daevanion skill chest.
- Participate in dredge/rt/illumiel/sieges daily. Even if losses occur, the rewards are worthwhile.
- Engage in Neviwind when available.
- Once geared up, Hererim Mine is perfect for farming AP.
Legendary Transformations
- Transformation scrolls have replaced the old-style running/cast/attack speed scrolls, providing incredible speed boosts and both offensive/defensive stat enhancements. Aim toward snagging an Ultimate (super rare) > Legendary (currently more attainable with elite rewards) > Ancient (accessible through events/grinding). Don't forget to collect your 2 free weekly scrolls from the Aion shop. Grabbing a Legendary will inject a noticeable speed increase into your gameplay.
- Currently, there are elite rewards offering a coveted legendary contract (10 types). Open the aion shop in the game, hit the 3 blue bars top right, and navigate to 'veteran rewards' to check your status. The Legendary contract awaits at 20/20 after unlocking 80/80 levels, so subtract your current level from 100 to find out how many gold packs needed. The Elite rewards remain active for three months, so leverage this window to accumulate gold packs through in-game means or real-world spending.
