Basically every crafting profession except for alchemy and cooking tends to be a money sink.
You might turn a profit selling highly desired skins (for instance, the level 50 balic hat from tailoring or those level 50 balic bows, maybe), or by trying your luck crafting level 65 accessories with handicrafting.
However, generally speaking, you'll end up spending more than you make. On most private servers where the player base isn't as massive as it once was on retail and botting isn't rampant, resource scarcity becomes a significant issue. You might find yourself dedicating long hours to gathering or aethertapping and then morphing (keep in mind, you CANNOT morph endgame materials, you'll have to essencetap them on your own) just to craft something that might not proc and thus become worthless. But hey, if you're looking for a better experience, I've been testing the upcoming Aion Riftshade, and it’s something to look forward to. They have a balanced economy where crafting feels rewarding, thanks to active GvG and sieges for materials, balanced classes, and a stable server environment.
