Can anyone assist in clarifying gear progression after hitting level 65?

I'm a ranger sporting an AC+BM bow, and I'm decked out in full BM equipment.

My only PvE piece is a Mythic Sauro Shoulderguard, which I snagged after 10 runs.

The issue is I'm unsure about the next steps in gearing up.

Outside of Sauro, I can't meet the gear requirements in any other instances (like IS, IO..), and folks keep rejecting me. So, it's the Sauro grind over and over again for me.

Sure, I could amass AP, GP, and cera to eventually snag Abyss Gear, but it still doesn’t hold up in PvE instances…

Would players accept me if I sport full AC gear? It seems doubtful, being a DPS; I reckon they focus mostly on my bow.

Is repeatedly farming Sauro for that mythic bow the sole path forward?

 

Another question is… upon obtaining the Resplendent (Abyss) bow, should I merge it with my present (AC+BM) bow or go for a mythic fusion? Is Hyperion a good bet? But again, wouldn’t I lose the set bonuses from the Hyperion/Resplendent Gear?

 

It’s a lot to take in, but any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

What are your stats fully buffed up? With a +5 AC+BM weapon and fully socketed BM gear, you're more than set for those dungeons. You might even manage to join instances like IS because you typically meet the necessary stats. Only dungeons where you might face challenges are Sauro 2 keys, SWB, and perhaps Runadium? Hyperion only needs 2800 precision, and I'm sure the RST/IO boss is about the same level. Still, with that gear, you'll usually hit around 2800+ precision and 900+ crit without using any buffs like Idians and candy. Count those in, and you easily surpass 3000+ precision and 1100+ crit, which is sufficient for most encounters. (Grendal and Shita demand around 3100, and Pashid is 3200, though you don't really need that much for Pashid due to the nature of that instance). *and this is excluding having a chanter's buffs. Full AC might offer more aid, but it's somewhat overkill for a class that doesn’t need heightened HP and defense (plus, the bonus offensive stats from conditioning are nice). It does take time to complete, and fully obtaining that gear is almost comparable to a full Hyperion set.

It's simply that people are very choosy. Some only check the weapons, others request to see everything, and some don't like spotting any "weak parts," even if you meet the required stats. Additionally, some are fixated on seeing purple gear. Ultimately, what matters is meeting the stat requirements and being a competent DPS. The method doesn’t matter. Regardless, people don’t care, they might recruit someone decked out in fully enchanted mythical gear only to find they can't play effectively or aren’t pleasant to work with. Just keep searching for other groups or aim to join a legion that tackles endgame dungeons.

In regards to your question about your Abyss weapon, don't use it under an AC weapon or Hyperion (*you won’t lose your Hyperion set effects because the Abyss weapon will be merged under it and the latter doesn’t possess a set effect with your Abyss armor). Hyperion's base stats are subpar, especially for physical classes (magical ones only rely on MB, irrespective of base or bonus, and with the full set, they reap the bonuses and are set). For physical classes, attack from those bonuses shows up "green" rather than "white"). So, wait until acquiring the SWB weapon — it's the better choice. (RST/IO, Runadium, Sauro are secondary options, but you'll need 6 slots and optimal random stats for them to perform well).

I know its a pain but i will try to get my bow enchanted as much as i can, cause now its +2, and maybe also the armor.

Too bad its not possible to link stats in-game, this way it would be much more accurate to show ppl where you stand.

Try to enhance your weapon to +5 as your primary focus now, also make sure to condition it and attach a top-notch physical attack idian. At the moment, enchanting armor won’t provide much PvE benefit for BM gear, but it could be handy for PvP. With your weapon at +2, you might want to begin using purple stones for a higher success rate (at +2, an L107 provides an 80% chance). Personally, I avoided upgrading BM armor. It's best not to squander stones on BM if you're eyeing abyss gear. Both being 65 eternal, they have identical enchantment criteria.

Even if you disclose your stats, they may still doubt you. Yet, they should realize that anyone can link replicated gear from the memo-pad. The only genuine way to verify gear is if the person unlocks it for direct inspection.

I do feel like its a waste to enchant this gear, but i dont think i have any thing else to do.. 

I will keep running sauro as much as i can, cause thats the only place to get better pve gear for me at the moment..

Hopfully a mythic bow will show up 👌👌
